Photo vomit

I just downloaded a jumble of photos from the camera. Here are the highlights:

Christmas Gifts from MIL

Never one to disappoint, here are the craptastic gifts from MIL this year!

For those of you who have met me, please tell me none of this screams KIM! (well, ignore the cat creeping into the photo). For those curious, there's a used white/bulletin board, two sparkly pens, a sweater for a 70 year old church piano player, a pink little hand towel with embroidered bells and doves, a book of herbal remedies, a 25 cent bag of used, fake leaves and straw for decor, and a dust mit.

Hotlanta

The big billboard of Anderson Cooper is my favorite one.

My OTCC Chicken in Place of Beef Attempt

This is the dish before going into the oven. I should've resisted my urge to blend the veggies, because it looks better here than it did on my plate when I was done.

Cute Cats!
Chris's work partner gave us this cats-in-santa-hats blanket for Christmas. The cats adored it from minute one. That's big Bartleby in front and little Loki in back. Ali managed to sneak away from this pic.

That sure is a fancy sweater!

You won't mind if I forget to recap the pen, will you?

Just toss it in the garbage.

Little kitty bitties! *scrunchy, scrunchy scrunchy*

Ahem - sorry - just distracted by the little kitty bitties.

You're right, none of that screams KIm.

What it does scream is "Nail them to the big log wall in the backyard and grab some ammo!!"

My MIL used to give us craptastic gifts like that too. My fav was a broken cigarette lighter (neither of us smokes) that we could probably fix so Tom could keep it on his desk at work. Then FIL passed away and MIL started giving away money instead, like thousands of dollars a pop. It was quite a switch!

That looks like my chicken from last night! Only I baked my 3 breasts in a glass pie plate and my sauce was more like a korma sauce.

Cats love to shed onto new blankets. They would probably like to play with the used fake leaves & straw too - just scatter it across the living room floor!
