Taliesin

First, if you haven't read MC's update of her trip to Wisconsin, visit her blog.

Second, I'm excited about this weekend. I am going with a small group on an "intimate" tour of Taliesin, Frank Lloyd Wright's original architecture school and home for much of his life. This is an amazing deal because it's costs nothing (the most expansive regular tour is $80/pp) and it's more than any "normal" tour offers. I owe big thanks to a friend that was able to arrange this.
Taliesin

We'll also be staying at Frank Lloyd Wright's Uncle's Farm due to the amazing deal our friend got. We'll throw him a little cash for this, but he got it at a silent auction for a steal. It's just down the road from our house, so we'll probably only stay one night, but will enjoy a few nights of campfires there with others.

You either suck or rock.

I don't know if I should congratulate you or hate on you.

Damn Wisconsinites with your beer and your access to Taliesin.

I figured you were one of the few that would think this was exciting.

I don't like Frank Lloyd Wright. /confession

I think the man is personally a jerk, but I *heart* his architecture and vision.

I don't know much about the man, but I do love his work. Sounds like a great weekend!

Sounds like a fun weekend. Are you going to miss football. "They" say there are good games this week. "They" say the Skins are going to score a lot of points against the Rams, sending the Skins on the rebound of the century.

I did read MC's blog. I'm still jealous.

I will not be missing NFL football. I have to figure out the Badger game, though. Might have to tape it, as it's on during our Taliesin tour. We only play Wofford, though, so not a conference game.

Again with the Badgers?! Y'all are crazy football people.

However, the Maple Leafs start their pre-season tonight. Now that's important.

I'm envious for your weekend. Having seen the outside it's very beautiful.

Enjoy!
