Summer....it turns me upside down. Summer, summer, summer. It's like a merry-go-round...The Cars
Hashbrown casserole today! I made a low fat version last night with lots of cauliflower mixed in, so I didn't feel so starch heavy. It was yummy. I used my food processor to shred a hunk of low fat cheddar *waves at Swami*. I just think freshly shredded tastes better than the bags.
I'm planning three getaways from June through October (yeah, I know, that encompases more than summer):
Southern/mid Michigan brewery escapade
Stillwater, MN and the Twin Cities for shopping, drinking and cooking class
Kansas City, MO for BBQ highlights
All trips will also include attempts to find general kitsch (yes, that included Breezy and Swami). *snort*

General who?
Why don't I see Richmond or DC on that list? Oh, wait, you're still planning, right?
*scribbles in crayon*
Tennis in DC with Boo.
*snort* You two funny.
I know Boo! Notice she's not coming here, either. And I had some cash I was gonna give her when I see her next, too...
Oh, and Boo? I'll be in National Harbor, Maryland in November. Does that count?
We can play tennis on the Wii!!!!
Deal!
So you're going to do my road trip for me? *grin*
Seeing as my disposable income will be spent on dental work this year I'll have to put the road trip off until at least next summer. *pout*
It could count. Do you want me to come and visit you there? Perhaps Augie and Deb could come as well.
Swami is short like Breezy?
When and where is your cooking class, Kim? I suppose you want to look for cooking kitsch in The Cef's Gallery.
Swami is tall.
But evidently her fingers are short. That should be 'The Chef's Gallery'.
Yes, Boo, I think we should arrange a visit. I could always take the train out to the furthest point south. I'll be there for about four days (Friday through Monday), so we should be able to arrange something.
Swami, yep, The Chef's Gallery. We sent FIL there as a gift one year and he and his wife loved it.
*hops*
Wait. I just reread your post and I think it called me a "kitsch". In a general sort of way. I can't figure out if I have been dissed or not.
But I love kitsch! You decide if it was a dis or not. :-)
I think Stillwater may be our first trip of the season, given Chris's ability to take much vacation right away with the new job...we'll see how that works out in the next few weeks.
I thought we were going to go to the Lush store together? *pout*
And what about Chicago Peep Meet? Sheesh.
