MISC

Cheddar biscuits today. I'm in a nesting mood, so you get hearty food.

Bartleby is doing better. I've been leaving his cone off as much as possible. Hard to get anything done with keeping such a close eye on him.

I was recollecting the vet visit. The vet was very kissey with B. I laughed thinking how pediatricians don't kiss little kids.

Our oven isn't working. The electronic keypad is dead. The part won't arrive til Friday or Monday. Grrrr. Good thing it's summer. And at least the range works, so I can use the stovetop. Yay for gas. And yay for buying the extended warranty. We really couldn't lose because you buy the warranty for $99.95 and get it refunded if you don't use it for the five year period. Well, we've used the oven one twice and never the refrigerator, so we'll probably get the $99.95 back on the fridge and the oven one has definitely been worth it. Stupid oven.

Hope all is well in blogland. I miss you guys and will try to make the rounds today. Chris is staying overnight with his leadership class tonight, so I'm home alone *screams*

Mmmmmmmm - cheese biscuits.

I never heard of a refundable-if-never-used warranty. Who did you get that from?

Pediatricians never kiss babies because they wouldn't want to pass on any germs from other babies kissed. I'm sure they want to sometimes!

*waits eagerly for Michelle*

Swami, the Maytag Store (they have a few WI locations, not sure if they are in MN) is where we got it from. We couldn't turn it down.

Home alone on Double Eviction Night. One should be so lucky.

*smooches B*

I had a pediatrician smooch Conner once when he was much smaller. And it was a male doctor. It didn't upset me, it just surprised me. He is an awesome doctor and has been recognized as one of the top docs in Richmond. Besides who wouldn't want to smooch Conner?

*sigh* My girlfriend, Jessica, is going home tonight and it makes me want to cry. *sobs*

The ABC Warehouse store here has warranties like that too.

We got a warranty like that on our new furniture, but the refund is in the form of a gift certificate for the furniture store.

Bite your tongue, MTW. Bob's the one we are picking on, remember?

If only I'd have gotten into Big Brother this year. I'm bummed I can't chat about it with all my favorite peeps.

*smooches Conner and Bartleby*

*eats 2 biscuits!

Those bisquits are the only reason to go to Red Lobster.

I don't know... the one here makes a fricking fantastic bloody mary too. *grin*

B is lucky to have a mommy like you. I usually leave the cones on, but I'm also a skeerdy cat of them undoing something and forcing me to see something gross.

Pssssssst. She used Bisquick.

*gasp* I did NOT use Bisquick to make biscuits for all of you!

And yep, Breezy, just like Red Lobstah! I actually had my first good meal at Red Lobster last year, so now I'm back in the Red Lobstah is yummy camp. Usually it was bland, overcooked seafood. Now it seems to be fresher, better cooked and slightly more inventive.

Any biscuits left? Did you put a little garlic in them?

Hope Bartleby is doing better!
I'd give him a smooch, but my beagle would be jealous!

Ack! I just read about all of your adventures with Chris, MIL and Bartelby. Eeps. You DO need a vacation. Wanna come back down here?
