Quesedillas for a mid-day snack!
Blogger is cooperating more these days. I can make new posts without jumping through hoops. Yay!
I love you guys. Just sayin'.
We sealed our garage floor this weekend with one of those Epoxy Shield kits. It was a ton of work to clean the garage out and then scrub the floor with the acid wash, but the "painting" was painless. I was the edger and color chip thrower. I felt like I was throwing rice at a wedding. :-) Pics to follow in the next day or two. Fascinating stuff, I know.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm I love quesedillas.
The previous owners of my house must have done the same thing as you with the garage floor. I've often wondered what the color chips are for.
Do you?
And see? Your post was pretty fascinating to me. :-)
Glad it was interesting to someone! Before buying the product, I thought the color chips were an anti-skid thing. Nope, you have to buy the anti-skid additive seperately. The color chips are just decoration. And they help temper the glossy look of the floor so you aren't blinded. :-)
I've been thinking of doing that to my garage floor. My dad wants to do his, so I may help him with that to get some more experience.
When I owned my roller hockey arena, we did a similar epoxy-based floor for the skating surface. Since we're talking a 15,000 s.f. floor, we're talking something like 80 gallons of the stuff. We used big giant squeegees and wore golf shoes with metal spikes so we didn't stick to the floor.
Most courses won't allow metal spikes anymore. *grin*
Hi Kimmer!!!!!!!!!! *smooch*
Did you say somewhere that OT is annoying you lately? I feel the same way.
I think they just don't let Breezy wear metal spikes. She kicked too many people.
Boo-yep. I think I'm just grumpy.
Then we're all grumpy. *grump*
*kicks Kimmer*
I like this new group behavior. :-)
*puts band-aids on gaping wounds from Breezy's spikes*
The last time I did the floor surfacing was 1995. They still allowed metal spikes then. I think nowadays, you'd have to do the floor in track shoes which still have metal spikes. You'd probably do it faster in track shoes, right?
Hey, I'm kinda grumpy too! Nice to know I'm not the only one.
*doesn't kick my lady blogger friends*
MTW <-- still PART gentleman
Hey, is this where all the grumpy people are?
*plops down on couch*
My mom just had someone do that stuff to her garage floor. I like the paint chip thingys. It looks like there was a party in the garage. Heh.
pfffttt you weren't listening, courses' don't allow metal spikes anymore. My golf sandals have plastic spikes... yes I said sandals. *grin*
Golf sandals? Maybe I SHOULD take up golfing.
Jen, it took me forever to put spots of glue on that confetti. Whew!
*evil grin* Maybe I'll take you golfing in July.
*hop* Just when my excitement had settled, she reminds me of July.
*plops on grumpy couch*
*sigh*
