I'm so excited to be in the process of planning our trip to Italy in October. I have a two day conference in Prato, which is the Tuscany region. Then it's off to Rome for a three day conference. We are going a week early to stay in a different area of Tuscany, then heading to Prato for the first conference, then to Rome for the remainder of the trip.
The thing about Europe is that getting there is the most expensive part. I'm finding some wonderful accomodations and day tours that are reasonably priced.
