It was time for a new winter coat and I found bargains! Sears and Boston Store still had a small selection left at our mall. At Sears, I bought a black wool peacoat with some subtle stitched detailling, a super duper soft scarf, gloves, cute hat and two pashminas for $47 total with tax. Then, I found an Anne Klein camel colored coat for $50 at Boston Store, so I snatched that up, too. So for under $100 I got all that!
Here's the camel coat (I've never had a camel colored coat):

Very cute! I have a peacoat that I bought two years ago for a really good price (like $49). I think I've worn it less than 10 times. I have gotten into a serious fashion rut and too often prefer comfy over stylish and cute.
I love the look of the camel coat.
It's so very classy and rich.
I was going to comment on your "lip-smacking" entry but I got as far as Connor sniffing his snot, and I had to leave.
I always, always, always wait until spring to buy a winter coat. I have a lovely red wool peacoat that cost $29 on sale at the end of the season. They don't always have a great selection, but I'm highly in favor of not spending a fortune on a winter coat.
Now I'm thinking of going looking for gloves and scarves, too.
Seriously, Fro, all the accessories were probably $5 and under and Sears...lots for 1.99 and 3.99.
And I'm usually not an advocate of buying anything but power tools at Sears.
I love peacoats! And yet - I haven't had one for years.
MC, don't read my lip-smacking comment, lol.
Wow! Lucky you! I bought 2 coats on a huge sale at Kohl's...the only 2 they had left in my size. I needed one for my cold-weather vacation so I bought two.
Love the camel coat! Love peacoats. Love coats. Love bargains.
I'm jealous of your fabu shopping trip!
