Updatey stuff

Wow-it's been awhile since I updated. Blogging is still my medium of choice, I've just had so little time lately.

My travel schedule dies down after this month. July is the only planned work trip (well, some local WI stuff) this summer.

It was warm enough this weekend to get some yard work done. We even walked around and made a list of things we needed to buy and projects we needed to finish. It's a very long list.

I'm just trying to make it until the end of this month. Then I can refocus on my school work and finish the semester out.

FYI, Jucys in Texas (no, there's no "i" in that) has GREAT old fashioned burgers and fries. It was my guilty pleasure, as I like to partake in local legendary hot spots when I travel.

Bret picked Taya on Rock of Love. That made me want to vomit. In related news, I think Daisy (of past RoL seasons, and now with her own show on VH1) looks like a transvestite.

Yay for Spring projects. So much more fun than winter projects.

I gagged over Taya. Well, I didn't really like any of them this season, so I'm not too disappointed. But it was gag worthy.

I have no idea what you are talking about with this Taya person.

I wish I knew what you were talking about with this burger. The thought of it makes my mouth water. I almost want to change my lunch plans and go to Five Guys.

I've done no spring projects. This rain and cold weather sucks. My yard looks like crap.

I'm glad you updated.

Wasn't the soil still too wet? Or did you just do pick-up. My trees seem to shed about 2 large wheelbarrows full of twigs each winter. Project lists are, by definition, endless.

Local legendary hot spots are always fun. Oh. Are we talking about food here?

*sits with Boo on Taya & RoL*

I'm getting antsy to get out in the garden. We've already cleaned up and are just waiting for May 24 weekend.

If there's no "i" in Jucy's would you pronoune it Jucky's?

I spent time raking the leaves off the flower beds and Nolay cut down trees, Swami. Besides, nothing is too wet here unless there's flooding. I'm on sand.

Soon we'll be making our own mulch. We are renting a chiper this month and getting rid of all the dead branches.
