Five reasons I'm grumbling:
1) I've gained four pounds over the last month. It might have a lot to do with the Thai food bonanza, cinnamon roll and latte yesterday, pie, and onion rings in the last week (and no exercise).
2) I have too much to do this weekend and now my sister wants help with her flooring (they are pulling carpet and installing wood).
3) I forgot my flash drive today. I couldn't take my bag because we were driving the convertible and had stuff crammed in for our overnight at Chris's dad's house (there was a cooler and gun in addition to our bag). The flash drive contained my homework that is due this week. I had to email the prof and ask to upload it tomorrow. He was nice, but I hated having to ask.
4) My computer is freezing up a lot today.
5) It's dark in the morning when we get up. I hate this adjustment.

1. Today can be the beginning of a new month.
2. I am home today and have to do workwise. Tomorrow is our anniversary. Sunday is my planned "nothing" day.
3. I have just been emailing documents back and forth. I forget about the flash drive.
4. I have three at the house. You are welcome to use one.
5. I took Conner to school early on Wednesday because I had to be at work early for a class. He asked me why we were getting up in the middle of the night.
Happy Anniversary, Boo & Mr. Boo!
LOL-I think Conner is a very smart boy.
Emailing docs takes soooo long on my computer, so I flash drive most things. Guess I'll spend fifteen minutes waiting for my paper to upload tomorrow, anyway.
Oh, and I think I won't rely on your computer karma, TYVM.
1. I agree with Boo. Today is a new month.
2. Mr. Fro asked me what I wanted to do for our anniversary. I said I want to drop Lauren with his parents and go out to dinner. He said okay. Then yesterday he said that he'd rather go for a weekend in Galena as a family. That's fine, and I'd like to do that, too, but really what I wanted was a few hours to have a conversation and eat a meal slowly and without having to spend 3/4 of the time shoving food into someone else's mouth. So, no dinner for me, but I am looking forward to a weekend away sometime in October.
3. My flash drive is on a lanyard. The other end of it is attached to a little loop in my purse. Thus, it's always in my purse.
4. If you can't use one of Boo's, I also have three computers and you're welcome to come use one. Or two.
5. I normally hate the darkness adjustment, but it seems to be having the effect that it makes Lauren sleep later in the morning. She used to get up at 5, now she's staying asleep until 5:40 or so. She'll start sleeping til 6 just in time to turn the clocks back and we'll be back to 5 again. *grumble*
1. Four pounds is easy to lose. Now get 'er done.
2. Tell sis you have too much to do. No wait. Say prior commitments, it sounds better.
3. Is it weird that I still get freaked out when people casually mention that they are carrying a gun? AANNNDDD that a bag had to be left behind because said gun was taking up too much room?
4. Maybe it needs a hug
5. After the time change it will be light again.
I should've at least explained it's a hunting rifle (BIL left it at our house) and not just us paking heat willy nilly.
That's funny. I clicked on MC's name expecting it to lead to a blog.
*grin*
1. Leave Thai food out of it. Blame all that other tuff, but not good pure wholesome Thai food!
2. Send Chris.
3. Of course the professor was nice. You had a big gun!
4. I hate that.
5. I don't mind the morning dark. I hate when it is dark at 5 in the afternoon. Well, darkish anyway. Almost dark.
The Blog -
Argh me maties, i be bloggin' verily. The canons will be blowin' the news once t'writin' be done.
I'm with you on dark mornings. *pulls covers up higher*
*waits for MC's blog*
I'm with ya on the dark morning. Hooey I say.
1) Plus the travel eating in August. I want a cinnamon roll right now.
2) Prior commitment also sounds good to me.
3) You carry a flash drive. I almost bought another one today. For a second backup of my pics.
4) Dang fancy machines.
5) I don't get up early anymore. I'm not sure if that is good or not. It's 7:37 here and beginning to get dark.
In one of my professor's lectures he went off on this tangent about going to Ikea and picking up a Cinnabon there. He told us he loves sweets and he described how he heated it up and ate it between recording the lectures. To my embarrassment, I realized I had drooled on my keyboard a little.
Mmmm....Cinnabon.....
