Turkey, Artichoke and Havarti sandwiches for lunch, since peeps liked sandwiches so much yesterday.
Cookie news! I have received all my cookiez! My most recent sender made M&M & candy cane sugar cookies. They were uber good! I also got a little prezzie & so did Chris! Oh, and I can't forget the bucket the cookiez came in (see comments of last post). *snort*
I have boxed up my cookiez! I am going to the post office around 2:00 today since I have the car. Hopefully it won't be killer busy. I also have boxed up my secret santa gift. Yay!
Tomorrow night we are going shopping to finish things up. Still lots to get for the family.
Next week I'd like to be fairly stress free. Speaking of...we usually do various appetizers for Christmas Eve at my sister's. This year we are doing take n' bake pizzas. Everyone will eat it and it's easy. Because I'll be traveling to both of my in-laws houses right before Christmas Eve, I'm glad I won't have to bring anything.
I haven't told Chris that I'd like to go to church on Sunday. We'll be at his dad's church, and I always enjoy listening to his dad's sermon, even if I'm not a religious peep.

What is Havarti? I need to know before I bite into a sandwich. :)
Yay for cookiez! They sound yummy.
I like the take-n-bake pizza idea. Easy and good!
It's a really mild cheese. You'll like it. :-)
I'm stuffed from lunch, so you guys can have all the food.
*grin*
Shopping! Yay! I wanna go shopping. Wait, will you just pick up some stuff for me? I'll get my list for ya.
Something tells me that church won't be an issue....and no, I haven't mentioned it to Chris yet.
Oh wow! That sounds delish!!
*gobbles up all the sammiches*
*comes strolling in with a big glass of milk*
I heard there are cookies here today. And that sammich sounds so much better than the PB&J I just had.
We are going to a big party tonight. I get to wear my fancy $100 jacket. Conner was home with me today because of his cough. Of course of all days, today. Oh well. I think he'll be okay with the sitter. I *have* to go to the party - it's being thrown by 2 important clients, one of whom is fighting liver cancer.
*shares one cookie with Boo because I like her so much*
Tell me who you need to buy for momma, and I'll just use my best judgment in purchasing their gift. :-)
I want pictures of Boo in her fancy jacket.
2:00 post office run only had a 15 minute wait. Not terrible.
I need to finish the kids' lists. Eek.
Yay for cookiez! I might bake this weekend. I have Saturday to myself and Sunday I'm playing golf!
Havarti and turkey sandwiches are my favorite, so I'll bet the artichoke and Havarti sandwiches are good. Umm, that is they *would* have been good. *glares at MM*
You've certainly been very BOLD on your blog lately!
Thanks for noticing, MTW. :-)
Did you know you can't take cheese (or meat, even deli meats!) or citrus fruit into the States? And havarti is hard to come by in Michigan. Apparently. My cousin will tell you all about it if you like. :D
Havarti is good.
I kind of feel like going to a family carol service this year. We can't because we're going to DH's sister's place. But I sort of want to sing in a crowd. I miss that, despite also not being religious.
Sometimes I put havarti cheese in cheese fondue. Yay for cookiez arriving! How fun to get a package in the mail! I like shopping at night; less people, but the store is usually a mess.
Glad that I am not the only one who is slow on the Secret Santa thing...
I will get mine mailed on Monday.
*crosses fingers*
*gigglesnort*
I'm about to go and put the final packaging touches on my stuff to ship and for some reason I feel like I should be shipping something to you.
I'll just send you a *smooch*
Kimmy!!!! Come help me bug Breezy! Please!!!
I'm really busy today and won't be in much tomorrow, so I think I might go on blog vacation this week. My attention will need to be on the OT Holiday party on Thursday!
