OMH, there's so much to do. I am back from DC & work is piled up. Plus, every conference generates twenty new things to do.
I'm behind on my class. I was to finish my book on the plane, but didn't. I also need to hit discussion three more days this week and write a paper by Sunday.
They are starting a new nursing school attached to a major CA university. We've been invited to join them. *gulp* My boss is the key decision maker, so now I'm in waiting mode. She leaves for Australia this weekend, so I'm guessing no progress will get made on this for awhile.

Which explains the California dreaming.
Welcome back. I'm making you pumpkin pies and cranberry-pecan bread today. I had enough pie filling to fill 2 large custard cups half full too, so Tom & I will get a head start on the Thanksgiving sweetened pumpkin front.
Where in CA?
Really? California? I had no idea. Anywhere near me? *grin*
But there would be no actual consideration for you to move there, would there?
Get to work.
*wanders into blog looking for leftovers*
Any turkey in here? I'll even take leftover cranberry sauce.
*sits with MC*
All this talk about American Thanksgiving makes me want turkey.
I'm near a couple of CA universities. *airs out guest room*
It would be nearest to MM & MTW, and north of Bravie and Puffy. *hop* Chris and I are both very excited at the prospect and told our families this weekend. They are all very supportive. Now, it's the wait on the boss.
Is it UC Davis?
Wait. This is really sounding more like a "move to California" thing. Is this a "move to California" thing?
Wow, how exciting! But... I just don't think I could get used to you living in CA. You're a cheesehead!
Oh, wow. I thought you were just wishing about CA. I didn't know there was an actual possibility. How exciting!
