Fashion friend, or fashion foe?
I recently purchased a 3 pack (black, brown, white) of simple cloth covered headbands. I'm growing my bangs out and this is a good solution. However, I'm torn on liking them. I mean, Paris Hilton wears them. She then looks like a baby doll (puke). But then Lauren Conrad wears them and looks like a young, fresh fashionista. Sigh.
I have yet to attempt the silky ones that look like fake scarves with the trailer down the back.

DD wears them, I can not.
*giggle*
I wear them to wash my face.
I wear them sometimes, but I can never find ones that stay on my head properly. The best ones I have are the plastic ones with the spikes. The cloth one I have does not stay in place for more than 10 seconds, so I don't wear it.
But anyway, I think they're cute, so I say fashion friend. :)
Jen-the first day I wore one, I had that same problem. Now, I spray my hair, put the headband on, and spray over it. I figure I can try running them through the dishwasher when they get grimy. :-)
I wear them around the house and on weekends. So it's probably a fashion faux pas.
I'm like Boo, wear them to wash my face. My face is not headband friendly.
You put them on your hair, tummy, not your face. :-)
Well, Hilary used to wear them all the time.
I miss wearing a silk scarf to hold my ponytail (/flashback)
*glares at Swami* You had to bring up her, didn't you?
Yes I did. She was my very first headband thought.
I wear one when I wash my face, too. Never out in public.
The only headband I wear is for snowmobiling...think skibunny type headband.
Otherwise? Not something I can wear.
You wear cheese on your head for Cod sake so what's a little headband?
Picture please and then I will offer my thoughts.
I wear one that resembles a huge covered rubber band when I go to the gym. I can not stand hair hanging in my face when I do yoga. LOL.
I wear a stretchy thingy when I wash my face.
I haven't worn a headband for fashion for years, but I used to love them when I had long hair. My hair is so thick that nothing else would work.
Good luck with the bang growing. I hate growing out a hairstyle.
Monsty has a point about the cheese thing.
I'll have to take a picture one of these days...you know, on the camera that also has girl weekend pics that I haven't downloaded. I'm having laptop power cord issues at home right now.
Um Monsty, try walking through a Wisconsin airport with a cheesehead on. They look at you as though you flew in on a spaceship.
I wore them in elementary school.
