Weekend

Baby swiss, thinly sliced today.

So, whatcha' doing this weekend? I know Breezy is driving north to pick up her DD. What's everyone else up to?

We are going to the wedding. My dad is picking us up tomorrow morning and we are coming back early Sunday.

The pregnancy juice is being passed around again. One of my best friends (well, we've grown apart a bit over the years, but are still good friends) moved back to town from D.C. and announced she was preggers last night. She's not the "mom" type, so I was quite surprised! My friend Jen also announced a few weeks ago they are preggers, and she's also not "momish." I'm very happy for both of them, though. They knew it was time for them (well, one thought it would take a year and it happened the first time they tried!). I'll get to spend some quality cooing time with some new kiddos next year! Babies are so darn cute.

Not much. Just your run of the mill weekend...flying to Charlotte to buy a new house! I am about to buzz right out of my skin!

I' thinking of taking a couple of days to myself and getting away. We'll see how I feel in the morning and if I'm up for getting away.
Otherwise my only set plans are for a hot date tonight with one of our own bloggy friends. *grin*

Yay for Tkit.

Not too much on the agenda, really. May try to make a run down to my aunt's one day, but I'm not sure. We'll have to see where the money sits after I pay bills. Ick. And I'll have to see if DH will let me borrow "his" truck.

Let's all go to Texas and celebrate Momma's 30th birthday!!!

We're going down to Raleigh to see our good friends and their baby. They have a backyard pool. :)
I can't wait!

No particular plans. Putz in the yard a little, putz in the house, paint something black. Sunday is my day to spend with DS. We will probably go see a movie He wants to see and then go for pizza. :-( I wish he was fixated on some different food item!

Swami-a coworker once got in trouble for using the word "putz" in the workplace.

Weekend - I don't have many plans for the weekend. Sunday night, I'm playing tennis. We have a bunch of movies to see, so maybe we'll go to the movies. That's about it.

I probably have a lot of yardwork to do and I'd like to wash AND wax my car.

Pregnancy juice? Watch your drink glass, missy! Your friends might try to swap with you while you're not looking. ;-)

I'm hanging out here the rest of the morning. I don't want to hear any more about some peeps hot date!

The newly preggers friend said "By the way, my being pregnant does not indicate any pressure for you to procreate." She's funny...she describes herself as "vessel" for the baby.

Vessel?

Dock, maybe?

How can you get in trouble for saying "putz"? Is it non-PC?

As for the weekend, just hangin, cleaning house, neighbours coming over for nibbles and vino Sat. night.

Coronation Street on Sunday morning, hang, eat, drink. Perfect weekend.

I want to visit the clowns this weekend...sounds fun!

Putz is apparently slang for male genitalia. Who knew?

Going up to our lake house this weekend. Lounging and drinking are on my agenda. :)

I have a quiet weekend ahead of me. The only thing on the agenda is the neighbor's party. I have to make cookies for that (I offered, I didn't think they'd take me up on it.)

Hooray for non-monish-moms.

Not monish.

momish.

Sheesh. Stupid fingers.

Just a quiet weekend at the cottage for us. Fishing, swimming, drinking, eating and Texas Holdem last night. Today we're heading back to our favorite spot on the lake for more swimming, fishing and floating in the current.

It's almost time for me to get off the computer and get out in the sunshine.
