Nibble on some baby swiss and let's ponder our careers.
If education wasn't an obstacle, what jobs would you seriously consdier? Try to make it something you could actually do at this point in life with your previous experience.
1. Staff Development Coordinator for nursing homes.
I'd likely need a nursing degree for this.
2. Events Coordinator
I have the education and some low level experience. However, the entry level pay sucks. And I'd have to work a lot of odd hours
3. Kitchen store owner
I'd love to own a little boutique store that sold cookware and gadgets, plus a few gourmet food items. We have one in Madison that I'd love to mirror in the small town I live in. It's a touristy town that would benefit from this business. However, this? Would be incredibly risky.
4. Bakery worker or owner
Fun! Long hours, and again, incredibly risky to be an owner. Low pay to be a worker.
5. Something student oriented at the university
I need to consider jobs in housing, orientation, advising, etc.

I would like to work for you at the kitchen store.
I wouldn't mind owning a restaurant and I wouldn't mind having something to do with working for the 49ers. I have no clue what I could do working for the 49ers but my dream job would be to work for them. (sans current owners)
Honestly, my all time want to do job right now? Open my own consignment/resale clothing shop for kids with part of it devoted to books (new and used). I even have the name and location picked out.
Damn lack of funding.
1. I would like to make breakfast for people at a small bed & breakfast. I like making breakfast. My specialty is crepes.
2. I'd like to plan trips for people. Not exactly like a travel agent because I've actually worked in a travel agency and done the boring coporate stuff, but I'd like to poke around and find good deals, good hotels, and interesting activities for people I like. When Mr. Fro and I plan vacations, I do ALL the planning because I enjoy mining through the interent and finding the best things possible, reading books on the location, etc.
3. Work on large-scale events like the Olympics. I found out today I might actually have an opportunity to be on the "Chicago 2016" Olympic committee, and I'm excited about it. (The decision between Chicago and L.A. will be made April 14, and the final decision made in 2009, so we'll see if this goes anywhere.)
Hey Frodis. My dream would be to have a B&B. I also love making breakfast for peeps and making sure they are comfy and cozy.
Oh and Kim, you sure do have a lot of jobs you'd consider. I could never come up with more than my B&B idea.
1. Elementary School Teacher.
2. Kept Woman.
A process engineer because everyone else's processes are stupid! *giggle*
A travel person on the Travel Channel.
An extravagant, basically silly, Desperate Housewife of Orange County.
A marriage counselor *rolls on floor laughing*
Oooh, a kept woman is actually first on my list, too, boo!
Carey, I bet you could find SOMETHING. I mean, somebody has to wipe down the balls. No, I mean the footballs.
momma, I bet your store would be successful. There's not a ton of risk other than store rental and a few employees.
frodis & nookie need to open a B&B and have a big OT party.
And maybe frodis & lasann could collaborate on a reality travel show. *giggle*
Tour guide.
Talk radio host.
Gigolo.
1.Own a Garden Centre/Landscaping company and hire me some young laddies to do all the heavy lifting in the hot summer heat :-)
2.Host of anything on TLC, HGTV or the Food Network
3.Professional traveller except I hate to fly
4.Rock Star. I have no qualifications but that doesn't stop a lot of rock stars, does it?

DH wants to move to Vermont and open a B & B, so I guess I'd go. He figures it would be far enough away from family we wouldn't have to worry about them...
(of course only when they are driving us crazy..)
